Julius Wegermann narrowly missed out on gold in the long jump. With a jump of 6.78 meters, he was just one centimeter short of victory, earning him the silver medal. He also achieved a strong fifth-place finish in the 100-meter dash.
There was another medal success in the women’s pole vault as well. Lea Laux cleared 3.80 meters on her very first attempt, securing not only silver but also a new season’s best.
