Ruhrpott-PANNA wins the Football Uni League
In an exciting final of the Football Uni League Bochum, Ruhrpott-PANNA secured the championship title once again. The team beat Hufeisen United in a thrilling final match to be crowned champions of the 25/26 winter season.
What a night of football! Monday saw the grand finale of the 25/26 winter season of the university league – and it was quite a show. After 90 minutes full of highlights, thrilling tackles, and dream goals, the new (old) champion has been crowned: Ruhrpott-PANNA takes the crown once again!
But Hufeisen United made it anything but easy for the defending champions. In the first half, they kept the game open, stayed in it and gave the fans hope for a sensation. But after the break, Ruhrpott-PANNA really turned it on and pulled away with a clear 9-4 victory. Nevertheless, Hufeisen United can be proud of a strong second place – hats off!
The entire season was a real thriller. At the end of the league phase, the top three were separated by just three points – it was rarely so close! And even Spiel- und Freizeitfreunde in fourth place were able to trip up Ruhrpott-PANNA in the league phase. It just goes to show: anything is possible in the university league!
A big thank you goes to all the teams who provided atmosphere, excitement, and lots of goals. We are already looking forward to the summer season – then it's time to lace up your shoes, put on your jerseys, and get out on the field! Until then, stay on the ball!
