Ten RUB students in Tokyo
Tomorrow, Friday (23 July), the 2021 Olympic Games will start in Tokyo. 10 students from the Ruhr-Universität Bochum will be taking part.
Within the project "Partner university of top-class sport", University Sports Bochum supports about 50 top athletes in combining their studies with competitive sports. At the Olympic Games starting tomorrow, 10 of them will compete with the best athletes from all over the world in canoeing, rowing and swimming.
We are a university of top-class sport and are keeping our fingers firmly crossed for our athletes! I wish everyone exciting competitions and a happy and healthy return home.
