What fascinates me most about rowing is the interaction between man, material and nature. It's about finding the rhythm together as a team - the feeling when everything fits is simply incomparable. You know that the "perfect stroke" is actually unattainable, and yet it sometimes feels like you're flying over the water. What's more, you're constantly pushing your limits - and you realize that there's often more to it than you think. What I appreciate the most: Commitment always pays off in rowing.
When I'm not doing my sport, then ...
... When I'm not on the water, you can usually find me somewhere between campus, desk and coffee cup - I study geography at the RUB. Otherwise, I'm often out and about on my racing bike or out and about with my camera.
My previous successes
German champion in the double sculls (2024)
Silver FISU World University Championships in the eight (2024)
9. 1st place World Cup Varese in the double sculls (2023)
U23 World Championships in the eight (2022)
Bronze U23 European Championships in the eight (2021)
My goals for the future
First complete my bachelor's degree and then continue directly with my master's degree. Above all, I don't want to lose the fun in sport and keep improving in order to catch up with the world's best. And of course I still dream of the Olympic Games, like probably every athlete.
