My way to the RUB

• After completing my Bachelor's degree in Journalism and PR at the Westfälische Hochschule in Gelsenkirchen, I moved to Dortmund to live closer to my training centre. Then the question arose: do I want to do a Master's degree or take a completely different academic path? Can I even manage that alongside sport? I then decided to study law at the RUB, because the RUB is a university of top-class sport and I can therefore study in a more flexible and customised way.

When I think about studying and top-class sport

• I'm thinking above all about time and energy management. It's important to do at least something for your studies every day and to be on campus as often as possible to keep in touch with your fellow students and professors. But it's just as important to take a break when you're too tired from training.
