Welcome to University Sports Bochum

Seven days a week all the sports opportunities you can think of: Over 90 sports, with more than 450 courses, our 1.100 square meters Gym „Unifit“ and events offer various opportunities to explore new aspects in the world of moving.

As „Partner University of High Performance Sports“, we enable participation in University Sports Contests and we support the dual careers of top athletes.

We are the point of first contact on campus for all questions about sport beyond the classroom and we will be happy to take care of any of your sporty questions.

German University Rowing Championships: Successful Days for RUB in Krefeld

The rowing teams from Ruhr University Bochum achieved outstanding results at the German University Rowing Championships in Krefeld on Lake Elfrath (July 10–12). The RUB teams put in strong performances and took first and second place in two events.
