Partnership sealed
The Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games and Ruhr-Universität Bochum have agreed on close cooperation.
At the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games (FISU Games), the world's largest multi-sport event in 2025, the world will come together on the Rhine and Ruhr to celebrate sport, science and culture. Around 8,500 students and officials from around 150 countries will compete in 18 different disciplines over twelve days. Bochum is one of the venues. Ruhr-Universität Bochum is stepping up its involvement in the lead up to the event and is now an official partner university of the FISU Games. A corresponding cooperation agreement was signed on 8 April 2025.
