On this day, which is also the International Day of University Sports (IDUS), the German University Sports Association (adh) is organizing a competition:

Information on the adh University Run 2025

All interested parties throughout Germany are invited to lace up their running shoes and cover as many kilometers as possible on foot within 60 minutes. It does not matter whether the full hour is used up. The important thing is to get moving and collect kilometers for your own university location. Your own results must be recorded using a smartwatch or app (tracking app or running app). The results, including a screenshot or photo, must then be uploaded online.
