New Corona Protection Ordinance from 20th August

Since Friday, 20th August, a new Corona Protection Ordinance of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia has been in force. When this regulation comes into force, a number of things will also change for university sports. The most important points are:

• There are no longer any incidence levels, only the limit of 35.
  This means that all courses in SoSeFe can take place as planned, regardless of rising/high incidences.
• There is no longer a distinction between contact and non-contact sports, but there will still be a differentiation between indoor and outdoor sports
  • This means that we can abolish the reduction to 12 persons in indoor contact sports, thus eliminating the week-by-week registration for the course date.
  • Furthermore, the obligation to show an appropriate proof document (3G) is dropped for all outdoor sports.

There are restrictions from incidence level 35 onwards for participation in indoor sports
For all indoor sports, including our fitness studio Unifit, the obligation to present an appropriate proof document (3G) applies from an incidence value of 35 before the start of the course or training. Indoor sports are only permitted for vaccinated, recovered or tested persons from an incidence of 35.
